This painting is part of a series of sixteen paintings, which were
painted from Winter 2009 through Summer of 2010. This particular
painting is number 2 from the series. Each painting title is a sentence
from the 16 line poem which I wrote and based the paintings on.

The series is titled: "The Day The Flowers Died." The series depicts two
lovers at the last day on Earth. Each painting shows the death of all life on
Earth but does not state what brings about this Apocalypse, this annihilation.
